Ensure clean cooking is institutionalized in all local government planning cycles
Align clean cooking interventions with district health, environment, education, and climate goals
Build the capacity of local governments to understand, budget for, and promote clean cooking solutions
Support stakeholder coordination between national, regional, and district actors

📈 Key Outcomes

Thousands of mangrove seedlings planted across coastal buffer zones
Local residents trained in coastal restoration and carbon monitoring
Anticipated generation of high-quality carbon credits for resale on global markets
Improved resilience of coastal communities against erosion and flooding
Foundation laid for regional scaling across MENA (Middle East and North Africa)

Developed advocacy strategies and toolkits to educate MMDA officials

Led technical sessions and consultative meetings with over 30 MMDAs across Ghana

Developed implementation templates for integrating cookstove deployment into MTDPs

Facilitated budget allocation dialogues and inclusion into Assembly Environmental Health Units
