Pre-Implementation Assessments

Site selection through ecological surveys and GIS mapping assessment of mangrove species (e.g., Avicennia marina, Rhizophora) and degradation drivers

Carbon Credit Framework Setup

Aligned restoration methodology with carbon credit standards,documented baseline carbon stock, restoration models, and permanence plans and designed MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) tools for tracking sequestration impact

Restoration & Planting

Trained and deployed local teams for nursery development, planting, and habitat fencing, and introduced biodiversity indicators to monitor fish nursery areas and migratory bird habitats

Stakeholder Engagement

Built partnerships with local communities, environmental authorities, and academic institutions and ensured inclusion of gender-sensitive livelihood plans and conservation education

Sustainability Design

Created a long-term conservation fund linked to carbon revenue,proposed eco-tourism overlay to sustain income from guided tours and nature parks
