Matilda Osei is an accomplished researcher and renewable energy expert with over twelve years of professional experience spanning, data analysis, medical/ health research, climate change & sustainable development, renewable energy, and environmental policy across Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. She currently serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Index World Group, where she provides strategic leadership in research innovation, project development, and over all administrative management of the organization
Since the formative years of the organization in 2018, Matilda has led and supported over 80 research projects for individuals, organizations, and government agencies, focusing on medical/ health studies clean energy transitions, gender inclusion, and climate-resilient policy frameworks.
Matilda holds a Master of Science in Climate Change and Sustainable Development and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology, both from the University of Ghana, Legon. and currently a PhD candidate. She combines a strong academic foundation with practical experience in data analysis, research design, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
Her leadership is characterized by a commitment to evidence-driven decision-making, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic empowerment. Beyond her professional achievements, she is passionate about mentoring young professionals in research, renewable energy, and climate change advocacy.
